About Me
Damian Cook, Founder and CEO of E-Tourism Frontiers, was a trailblazer in digital tourism who turned his passion for travel into a career that shaped the industry.
With experience spanning over 70 countries and time spent living in Australia, the UK, Jordan, and Kenya, Damian brought his love of exploration to life by creating meaningful change in how destinations and businesses approach tourism.
After consulting for public and private tourism sectors, he founded E-Tourism Africa in 2007, focusing on training and digital adoption for tourism businesses. By 2010, he expanded the company into E-Tourism Frontiers, working with destinations worldwide, including South Africa, Jordan, Thailand, and Eastern Europe, to revolutionize tourism marketing and streamline business practices.
Damian was a renowned trainer and presenter and part of his passion and focus was simplifying the complicated and encouraging small businesses to adopt digital as both a marketing and business focus.
A renowned trainer and presenter, Damian was celebrated for simplifying digital marketing concepts and empowering small businesses. His accomplishments are wide, with two of the most prominent being the author of A Practical Guide for Tourism in Emerging Markets and his work playing a key role in legalizing online payment systems in Kenya in 2008. Outside of work, Damian pursued his love for the outdoors through extensive hiking expeditions, including traversing Jordan and hiking the length of the UK from Land’s End to John O’Groats, which inspired a book about the journey. His legacy continues to inspire innovation and exploration in the global tourism industry.
